As one of the Beijing 2008 legacy venues, the National Indoor Stadium (国家体育馆) was used for rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline, and handball competitions during the 2008 Summer Games. Alongside Wukesong Sports Centre, it will stage the ice hockey competitions of Beijing 2022.
